The United Methodist Church Rio Texas Conference is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Retreat Ministry. Under general direction of the Director, the Assistant Director of Retreat Ministry will be accountable to administer, direct, plan and manage the operation of the Mt. Wesley Conference Center, with a primary focus on guest relations and marketing, in accordance with city, county, and state laws and industry standards in a manner which supports the stated purpose of the Center. To serve as a team leader/member to assure that guests are extended God's gracious hospitality during their stay. The Assistant Director will provide excellent mission field oriented service and commitment to the Conference mission, “to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” The Mt. Wesley Conference Center Purpose is to offer and enable Christian experiences of worship, religious, education, spiritual formation, and fellowship. The Center is a site dedicated to the nurture and development of the whole person, and where the entire person ‐ spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical ‐will receive the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
