Bulverde United Methodist Church San Antonio is looking to hire a Children's Director.
The Children’s Director is a part time position that generally requires 10-15 hours per week. This position requires a love for children and their well-being, leadership abilities, and good communication and people skills in order to work in conjunction with the parents according to their wishes and BUMC policies. We expect this person to be present in the lives of the children, instructing, guiding, and loving each one of them, recognizing that each one is a child of God, unique in their own ways.

The major responsibilities and duties for this position include developing and leading Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programming for children through Elementary ages. Also responsible for monthly Friday night program for 4th and 5th graders, Vacation Bible School, and other children's events.

Some administrative duties are expected such as communication with parents through newsletters, Facebook, etc., as well as maintaining records on the children.
