St John’s Children Learning Center is seeking a Floater.

St John’s Children Learning Center Floater will assist teachers with implementation of a developmentally appropriate classroom setting. Duties will include, but are not limited to assisting with implementation of weekly lesson plans in accordance with Texas Rising Star guidelines, model and implement positive guidance techniques to regulate children's behavior, assist children with toilet or diaper needs, treat children and parents with respect and professionalism, maintain the classroom in the teacher's absence, work as a team with staff of the CLC and church, and any other duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director.

The Floater qualifications must meet or exceed state licensing requirements. Must be 18 years of age, have a current CPR, First Aid and Food Handler's card. At least 2 years of experience preferred.

The Floater must maintain at least 30 hours of training each year.
