Seminary Scholarships and Book Money

The Rio Texas Annual Conference Board of Ordained Ministry strongly supports our seminary students and offers financial assistance whenever when funding becomes available. Scholarships and Book Expenses are awarded to qualified applicants once a year. Please click on the link to see detailed information about the required criteria, as well as application forms with contact information and deadlines below.   

The Board of Ordained Ministry is currently offering $15,000 in Scholarships per academic year.  Completing the application will qualify a student for the Board of Ordained Ministry scholarship; the Then Sings My Soul scholarship and the Rio Texas Perkins Alumni scholarship (for Perkins students only).

           The scholarship deadline for 2024/2025 is July 15, 2024.

             
Scholarships for Book Expenses are also available at this time, with deadlines as follows: 

January Term:             January 30
Spring Semester:       February 28
Summer Term:            July 30
 Fall Semester:            September 30
